Ingredients you'll need

  • 1 1/4 cup (310ml) lukewarm water
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups (440g) flour
  • pinch salt
  • vegan cream for brushing
  • sesame seeds (optional)
  • Let's get cookin'

    1. Mix water, yeast, sugar ,flour, salt. Knead until soft dough forms
    2. Rest 1h, divide in 8 pieces
    3. Push finger through middle for classic bagel shape
    4. Cook in water 1min each side
    5. Brush with vegan cream, optional: add sesame seeds
    6. Bake at 200C/400F for 20-25mins
    7. Eat fresh or freeze in ziplock bag.
