Ingredients you'll need

  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 can (200g) cooked lentils
  • 1 tsp each salt paprika cumin dried oregano
  • 1 heaped tbsp tomato paste
  • handful fresh parsley
  • pitas
  • 1/4 cup (60g) tahini
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tsp agave
  • salt
  • water
  • Let's get cookin'

    1. Fry pepper, onion and garlic
    2. Add lentils. spices and tomato paste cook 2-3mins
    3. Stir in parsley
    4. Fill pita halves generously with mixture, brush with oil and fry until golden
    5. For whipped tahini: whisk tahini, lemon juice, agave, and salt while adding water until creamy
    6. Serve with pita.
